The Sexual Internet

It is a phenomenon that requires exploration from multiple angles: economic, psychological and discursive. This essay highlights the multiple dimensions of the new sexual spaces of everyday life. Ideological readings that pay attention to the capitalist, predominantly heterosexist and patriarchal nature of the phenomenon are required, and must be fine-tuned to issues of race, geographical location and the nature of public space.
