A fortnight after a group of American scholars, including Colombia's Akeel Bilgrami and Wendy Doniger of the University of Chicago, had issued cautions about the Mod government's e-governance programmed and its "lack of safeguards about privacy of information" a group of scholars and technologists have issued the current statement supporting the prime minister's visit to San Francisco.
