Understanding Productivity in the Pakistani Garment Sector: Comparisons with Bangladesh

The first objective was to develop a methodology for benchmarking productivity in the garment sector in Pakistan to productivity in a group of garment manufacturers of roughly equal size in Bangladesh. The second objective was to explore issues constraining productivity in the sector in Pakistan with an eye toward developing a full-scale project on one or more constraints faced by firms in the sector.
