Some Inputs for Draft National Education Policy 2016

It seeks to address both the unfinished agenda relating to the goals and targets set in the previous national policies on education and the current and emerging national development and education sector-related
challenges. Recognising the importance of quality education in national development, the NEP 2016 places an unprecedented focus on significantly improving the quality of education at all levels and on ensuring that educational opportunities are available to all segments of the society.
