The Witness Seminar is a particularly specialized form of oral history where several people associated with a particular set of circumstances or events are invited to meet together to discuss, debate, and agree or disagree about their memories. In this seminar all the achievements with regards to medical research are discussed. During the period covered by this Seminar, there were many steps that were thought to be towards further ‘modernization’. Some succeeded, but many failed.
