The paper is part of a broader study of the human rights of women who migrate or are trafficked to Hong Kong for the purposes of working in the commercial sex industry. The study is being conducted by a small team of researchers from the Faculty of Law and the Sociology Department at the University of Hong Kong, with assistance from a community organisation that works for the rights of sex workers in Hong Kong.
