Land Degradation and Migration in a Dry Land Region in India

An analysis of the impact of degradation of private land, as well as common pool land resources, on migration decisions is done. Data is analyzed from three dryland districts in Gujarat from a survey of over one thousand households. [SANDEE Working Paper No. 10-05].
