Creating Jobs in India’s Organised Manufacturing Sector

The creation of a large number of industrial jobs made possible by the rapid growth of manufacturing sector will significantly enhance the prospects of India’s low skilled and unskilled workforce getting suitable jobs. The disconnect between GDP and employment growth and a shift straight from agriculture to services led growth, leapfrogging manufacturing sector thus shifting focus on this sector.
