Socio-Economic and Ecological Benefits of Mangrove Plantation

The study has considered various issues of social, environment and economical conditions of coastal communities. It is apparent from this study that increase in mangrove cover (leading the trend in India) along the Gujarat coast has checked the salinity ingression and favored agricultural practice.
