India: Developing World’s Voice on Climate Issues

India, the fourth-largest contributor to worldwide carbon emissions, has not only emerged as a key player but also as
a voice for developing nations. The world will be watching as it balances its vision of a greener world with its vision of higher economic growth. Much as the conference projected the urgent imperative of corrective action, it also demonstrated the difficulty of achieving collective action that could lead to a durable and effective solution.
