The Decent Work Agenda: A Gender Perspective

Decent Work, Decent Life for Women is the theme of the 1st World Women’s Conference of the ITUC1 and of the Global Campaign, launched on 8 March 20082 . The main objective of the report is to examine what evidence exists on decent work for women and how it can be ensured that more women have access to decent work. It also looks at the gender pay gap, which is a fundamental measure of gender equality.
