About eSSH

eSocialSciences & Humanities

eSocial Sciences and Humanities (eSSH) is a peer reviewed online social sciences and humanities journal to be launched in November 2017. eSSH is a part of www.esocialsciences.org, a long standing and reputed social sciences portal. It will publish work in all the fields of inquiry within the Social Sciences and Humanities. Essays running to 3000-5000 words are preferred, work-in-progress, or essays written exclusively for eSSH are welcome. All essays will be subject to blind peer review processes. The journal will, in addition to the regular essays, include a section ‘Reports’, for short write-ups on seminars, workshops and conferences, and an ‘Announcements’ section for book news, CFPs, conference notices, fellowships and other opportunities. Submissions to be mailed to essheditors@gmail.com The journal has a global editorial advisory group that is active and involved with all aspects of the journal.

eSocialSciences is a core activity of IKF (IRIS Knowledge Foundation), an independent non-profit company registered under Section 25 of the Companies Act. IKF is a media, data and research partner in various research projects. Its broad objective is to leverage emerging media technologies for knowledge dissemination. eSocialSciences is a webportal and is a platform for the social sciences and humanities across Asia, (with a focus on India), with a repository and database of research papers, and a publication space. It has no independent funding currently.
