Annual abortion rate in Pakistan doubled in 10 years
A recent study titled ‘Induced Abortions and Unintended Pregnancies in Pakistan’ estimated 2.25 million abortions were conducted in Pakistan in 2012. Almost all these abortions were clandestine and the health and lives of women were at risk.
